Digital Solution Architect

About the role

As a Digital Solution Architect you will lead digital transformation initiatives for our clients, designing and delivering innovative cloud and hybrid solutions. You will work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions meet complex business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor, engaging with customers to understand needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Create functional design specifications and reference architectures using well‑architected frameworks.
• Lead the development of innovative solutions and troubleshoot complex cloud or hybrid issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver comprehensive cloud solutions.
• Mentor and guide other architects and engineering staff, fostering a learning culture.

Required profile

• Excellent customer‑facing skills with experience working with technical and business stakeholders.
• 5+ years of architect experience or 8+ years of Azure technical lead delivery experience.
• Strong technical leadership and ability to drive standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.
• Desirable: product and service design experience, cybersecurity knowledge, experience with non‑Microsoft cloud platforms.
