Digital & Social Media Coordinator

About the role

Plumbing World is seeking a creative Digital & Social Media Coordinator to bring its brand to life through compelling digital storytelling. Working part‑time (30 hours per week) from our Parnell Support Office, you will capture, create and publish content that connects with customers, suppliers, shareholders and the wider trade community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a proactive pipeline of content ideas from across the business.
• Manage content calendars aligned with campaigns, events and commercial priorities.
• Collaborate with branches, sales teams, suppliers and support functions to uncover share‑worthy stories.
• Capture high‑quality photo and video assets across the Plumbing World network.
• Create short‑form videos, reels, stories and social posts for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
• Write on‑brand copy for social media, the website and other digital channels.
• Support marketing campaigns through content planning, scheduling, publishing and performance reporting.

Required profile

• Proactive, people‑focused and comfortable engaging with employees, customers and partners.
• Strong visual storytelling instincts and a passion for hands‑on content creation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and adapt to a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Photography and video production.
• Social media content creation (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
• Copywriting for digital channels.
• Content planning and calendar management.
