Digital Marketing Executive

About the role

InterContinental Auckland is looking for a creative Digital Marketing Executive to elevate the brand of the hotel and its award‑winning Advieh Restaurant & Bar. Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will craft compelling stories and campaigns that showcase luxury experiences across digital and traditional channels.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging content – photography, short‑form video, copy and campaign assets – for digital, social, print and promotional use.
• Maintain and update the hotel and restaurant websites, ensuring accuracy, optimisation and brand consistency.
• Plan, produce and manage social media content on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, monitoring engagement and growing the online audience.
• Support the planning and execution of seasonal campaigns, promotions, events and brand initiatives, measuring performance and applying insights.
• Assist with media opportunities, influencer collaborations, partnerships and photography shoots to enhance brand visibility.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, F&B, Front Office, Revenue) and external agencies to deliver cohesive marketing initiatives.
• Conduct market research, track competitor activity and prepare reports that inform commercial decisions.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in a marketing role, ideally within hospitality, tourism, luxury or lifestyle brands.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
