Digital Communications Advisor (Part‑time, Hybrid)

About the role

Health Coalition Aotearoa is seeking a Digital Communications Advisor to champion health equity through strategic digital initiatives. This part‑time, hybrid position (20 hours per week) offers the opportunity to shape internal and external communications in a dynamic health‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute digital communication strategies that support the organisation’s health‑equity mission.
• Create, curate and publish digital content across web, social and internal platforms.
• Monitor and analyse digital channel performance to inform continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
• Support internal communications initiatives to keep staff informed and engaged.

Required profile

• Passion for health equity and experience in the health or non‑profit sector.
• Proven ability to work independently in a part‑time, hybrid setting.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Digital content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Social media management platforms.
• Basic analytics and reporting tools.
