Demand Generation Specialist – SaaS Growth

About the role

Join Datacom’s SaaS Growth and Revenue team as a Demand Generation Specialist, focused on creating pipeline and unlocking growth for the Datapay and Datascape solutions. You will work at the front line of the go‑to‑market engine, identifying opportunities, building relationships across complex organisations, and converting interest into qualified sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Generate inbound and outbound demand across phone, email, LinkedIn and web channels.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to research and tailor outreach to target accounts.
• Build relevance with councils and large organisations by addressing real operational pains.
• Nurture opportunities through long sales cycles with consistent, value‑based touchpoints.
• Map stakeholders, deepen contact networks and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
• Test and experiment with new outreach techniques, messaging, channels and emerging AI‑enabled technology.
• Collaborate with Sales and Pre‑Sales teams to hand off qualified opportunities with full context.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in demand generation, outbound prospecting or business development within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
• Strong knowledge of multi‑channel prospecting and outbound demand generation principles.
• Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to improve outreach efficiency.
• Proficiency in CRM‑based lead and pipeline management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to build rapport across varied stakeholder levels.
• Consistent high‑volume outbound activity and ability to manage multiple accounts concurrently.
