Delivery Supervisor – Fixed Term (NZ)

About the role

Switched On Housing is seeking a Delivery Supervisor on a fixed‑term contract until 30 June 2027. You will own residential maintenance projects from scoping to completion, working closely with Kāinga Ora, subcontractors, customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Scope, plan and deliver repair and maintenance work across Kāinga Ora properties.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades throughout project delivery.
• Monitor site activity to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification.
• Carry out quality‑assurance inspections and sign off completed works.
• Maintain accurate job records, documentation and invoicing.
• Build strong relationships with customers, Kāinga Ora, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Contribute to achieving contract performance targets and customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising, coordinating or delivering residential maintenance, construction or trade‑based work.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and competing priorities.
• Practical problem‑solver who can make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.
• Sound understanding of health and safety expectations in a construction or maintenance environment.
