Delivery Agent – Motorcycle & E‑Bike (Permanent)

About the role

Join NZ Post as a Delivery Agent in Whangarei, using a motorcycle or e‑bike to bring mail and parcels to customers across the community. You will be the friendly face of the organisation, ensuring timely deliveries while representing the values of NZ Post.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and sort mail and parcels from the Whangarei Operations Centre.
• Deliver items on a defined route using a motorcycle or e‑bike, regardless of weather conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and address information.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any delivery issues on the spot.
• Adhere to health and safety standards for yourself and colleagues.

Required profile

• Availability for a rotating 5‑day roster (Week 1: Mon‑Fri, Week 2: Tue‑Sat).
• Reliable transport to reach the workplace on time.
• Valid learner’s motorcycle licence (mandatory).
• Physical fitness and resilience to handle the demands of the role.
• Strong numeracy and literacy to manage addressing information.

Required skills

• Motorcycle operation and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to use handheld devices for route navigation and delivery tracking.
