Day Crew – Doubtful Sound / Manapouri

About the role

Join RealNZ’s close‑knit team as a Day Crew member on our day‑cruise vessels operating in Doubtful Sound and Lake Manapouri. This fixed‑term, full‑time position blends deck duties with hospitality, giving you the chance to work both on the water and behind the bar while sharing the magic of Fiordland with guests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome passengers, provide information and ensure a memorable experience.
• Serve food and drinks, operate the bar and attend to guest needs.
• Assist with ropes, mooring, and general vessel maintenance to keep the boat ship‑shape.
• Collaborate with the crew to maintain safety standards and support any on‑board task.

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude with a genuine love for the outdoors.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours during the busy summer season.
• Valid working visa for the entire contract period and a driver’s licence.
• Own transport to the Manapouri base is a strong advantage.
