Databricks Consultant / Engineer – Onsite or Hybrid

About the role

We are seeking experienced Databricks consultants/engineers to design, develop and maintain robust data platforms and governance frameworks. The role focuses on Databricks, Delta Live Tables and related services, delivering secure and scalable data pipelines for multiple organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Improve and optimise the Databricks platform for scalable, secure data solutions.
• Design and implement data governance models, catalogs and metadata management.
• Work with Delta Live Tables, Lakeflow connections and Unity Catalog.
• Apply data‑modelling techniques (star and snowflake schemas) for analytical and operational workloads.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent tools.
• Lead source‑control practices (Git, Azure DevOps) and build CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automated testing, data validation and performance‑optimisation processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into governed data products.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong client‑facing experience with Databricks, Delta Live Tables and related services.
• Deep expertise in Databricks platform, Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Proven experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Solid background in modelling both structured and unstructured data.
