Data/Analytics Engineer – Customer 360 Data Pipelines

About the role

Trimble’s Field Systems Data Team is building a modern data strategy and needs a Data/Analytics Engineer to shape the backend and infrastructure for a 360‑degree customer view. You will work on critical data projects, collaborate with the data platform team, and help break down data silos.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support migration of data storage and ETL processes to Snowflake and integrate downstream with BI tools such as Domo.
• Design scalable data schemas, audit existing data flows, and ensure integrity of finance, marketing, product usage, and licensing datasets.
• Establish platform structures, provide knowledge transfer, and document new data platform components.
• Develop advanced record‑linkage and enrichment pipelines using Python and the Splink library.
• Maintain and optimise SQL extracts for business dashboards and reporting.
• Implement and deploy classification algorithms in Python within Snowflake, creating automated incremental processes.
• Support integration of new data visualisation tools and third‑party systems (e.g., Impartner) while maintaining data quality.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
