Data Quality Analyst – Asset Data

About the role

Join Wellington Water’s Data Quality team to improve infrastructure‑based asset data sets. You will remediate data, ensure high‑quality asset information is available across the organisation, and work flexibly from our Petone office.

Key responsibilities

• Ingest, manage and analyse asset data to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain drawings and related information for all assets.
• Support the ingestion and management of additional data types.
• Analyse historic asset data, remediate issues and implement recommendations.
• Develop and uphold standards, policies, guidance and processes for data quality.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent in data science, asset management, GIS, engineering, draughting or related field.
• 2+ years experience in data/information management, preferably within infrastructure.
• Experience developing process and data standards.
• Ability to work in an agile or cross‑functional team environment.

Required skills

• Enterprise asset management systems (e.g., InfoAsset, Maximo).
• Geospatial platforms (ESRI/ArcGIS suite).
• Data modelling, databases and large tabular datasets.
• Draughting software.
