Data Engineer – Snowflake & AI Cloud Solutions

About the role

EY is looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to lead the design and delivery of cloud‑based data and AI solutions. You will work with Snowflake and a suite of integration tools to build scalable pipelines and data products that empower business users.

Key responsibilities

• Design Snowflake AI Data Cloud solution architecture and data models.
• Build and maintain robust data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Snowpipe, Fivetran, dbt and Coalesce.
• Integrate Snowflake with downstream analytics tools such as PowerBI.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate data needs into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers.
• Stay current with industry trends to keep the team at the cutting edge of data engineering.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing Snowflake AI Data Cloud platforms.
• Strong background in data platform solution architecture and data modelling (3NF, star schema, wide tables).
• Hands‑on experience building scalable pipelines with dbt and related tools.
• Ability to write efficient SQL queries and integrate Snowflake with Fivetran, Coalesce and PowerBI.
• Experience providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
