Data Center IT Technician – Server/Network Operations

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for skilled Server/Network Technicians to join its Data Center Operations team. You will install, configure, and maintain the IT infrastructure that powers the AWS cloud, working alongside engineers, logistics specialists, and security experts in world‑class data centers.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal service level agreements.
• Diagnose and repair server, storage, and network devices, including physical part replacement.
• Remediate and recover physical power issues on racks and support power & cooling events.
• Perform shift work on a 4‑days‑on/4‑days‑off rotational schedule, including night shifts.
• Lift and rack equipment using AWS‑provided lifting equipment.

Required profile

• Experience as a Server or Network Technician with a passion for technology.
• Valid driver’s licence and personal vehicle for site travel.
• Ability to work physically demanding tasks, including lifting equipment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights.
