Data Analyst – 12‑month Contract (Hybrid, Auckland)

About the role

ClearPoint is seeking a Data Analyst for a 12‑month contract to support one of its clients in Auckland. The role is hybrid, combining on‑site collaboration with remote work, and focuses on delivering high‑quality reporting solutions in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as product owner for the reporting layer, gathering requirements and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that translate platform data into actionable insights.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, provide visibility on progress and flag any blockers early.
• Support data governance initiatives, including data policy development and data deletion frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst with strong data querying, cleansing and transformation capabilities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear reporting outputs and communicate findings to non‑technical audiences.
• Comfort working in a collaborative, high‑transparency environment with regular stakeholder interaction.

Required skills

• Power BI development and dashboard design.
• SQL and experience with relational data sources.
• Data querying, cleansing and transformation.
