About the role

Join Deloitte’s Cyber, Privacy & Resilience team in New Zealand as a Cyber Security Specialist Lead. You will act as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients, helping them achieve business objectives while ensuring robust security, privacy and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on cyber, privacy and resilience challenges to key clients.
• Design and implement security architecture and cloud security solutions.
• Integrate secure‑by‑design practices into client delivery projects.
• Mentor and develop junior cyber professionals, shaping the next generation of talent.
• Collaborate with wider Deloitte teams to embed security controls across engagements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT services with a strong focus on cyber security.
• Consulting mindset with the ability to deliver tangible value at all organisational levels.
• Excellent written and spoken English for client reports and presentations.
