About the role
Join Deloitte’s Cyber, Privacy & Resilience team in New Zealand as a Cyber Security Specialist Lead. You will act as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients, helping them achieve business goals while ensuring their digital environments remain safe and compliant.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on cyber, privacy and resilience challenges to government agencies, iconic Kiwi institutions and global‑focused companies.
- Design and embed secure practices across client transformation projects, balancing regulatory requirements and risk management.
- Collaborate with wider Deloitte teams to integrate security architecture and cloud security into delivery.
- Mentor junior consultants and help shape the next generation of cyber professionals.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT services with a strong focus on cyber security.
- Consulting mindset with proven ability to deliver tangible value and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent written and spoken English for client reports and presentations.
