Customer Support Team Member – Otara Leisure Centre

About the role

Join the Customer Support Team at the Otara Pool and Leisure Centre and be the first friendly face Aucklanders see when they visit. You will deliver professional frontline service, ensuring every visitor enjoys a safe and positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively engage with customers to ensure a positive experience.
• Handle face‑to‑face and telephone enquiries, including cash transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, bookings and transactions.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first‑aid assistance when required.
• Support centre operations after up‑skilling, covering additional shifts as needed.

Required profile

• Strong communication and administration abilities.
• Friendly, outgoing nature with a genuine enthusiasm for customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and shift changes.
• Interest in recreation, lifeguarding or related centre functions is an advantage.
