Customer Service Superstar

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, people‑focused individual to join the Customer Service Desk team at Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate. In this role you will be the first and last point of contact for shoppers, handling enquiries, phone calls, checkout sales and a variety of on‑the‑spot requests.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers in‑store and over the phone, providing accurate information and assistance.
• Process checkout transactions and manage point‑of‑sale (POS) operations.
• Locate products, answer product‑related questions and support GE Finance enquiries.
• Handle unexpected situations and resolve customer issues with care and professionalism.
• Maintain a tidy and welcoming service desk environment.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Friendly, helpful nature with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and maintain a proactive, can‑do attitude.
• Confidence handling tricky situations respectfully.
• Reliability, teamwork spirit and willingness to assist wherever needed.
• Previous experience in retail or a service setting is a plus.

Required skills

• Good computer literacy and ability to learn new POS systems quickly.

What we offer

• 32 hours per week across four 8‑hour shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday) between 7 am‑7 pm.
