Customer Service Representative – Yard Operations & Sales

About the role
This position is the face of Hynds in the local community, supporting customers across the civil, water, wastewater and drainage sectors. You will work in a hands‑on environment, combining front‑counter service with yard operations to keep the branch running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Provide front‑counter customer service and address enquiries.
- Manage yard activities, including stock control and inventory checks.
- Prepare sales quotes and process orders.
- Coordinate deliveries and ensure timely dispatch of materials.
- Maintain accurate records and support overall branch operations.
Required profile
- Experience in front‑counter customer service and yard operations.
- Current full driver’s licence; forklift licence (F endorsement) is a plus.
- Solutions‑focused attitude with strong customer interaction skills.
- Good computer literacy and an eye for stock management.
- Reasonable level of physical fitness.
- Existing product knowledge in the civil/water sector is advantageous.
