About the role

Join NZ Post’s vibrant team in Palmerston North as an On‑Call Customer Service Representative. You will provide exceptional support to customers via phone and email, handling inquiries, complaints, and logistics issues while helping the branch run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer emails and phone calls regarding damaged or undelivered freight.
• Coordinate with delivery partners to resolve issues and keep customers informed.
• Perform data entry and administrative tasks to maintain accurate records.
• Cover shifts on short notice for illness, leave, or peak periods.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and service quality at all times.

Required profile

• Available to work on‑call between Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5:45 pm and Saturday 8:30 am‑12:15 pm.
• Reliable transport for short‑notice attendance.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and quick decision‑making.
• Confidence communicating with diverse customers face‑to‑face, by phone and email.
