Customer Service Representative

About the role

This pivotal position supports Balt’s newly established New Zealand operation as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams. You will manage order processes, nurture stakeholder relationships, and work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, orders and issues, researching and resolving them promptly.
• Manage order entry, shipping, receiving and statistical reporting with high accuracy.
• Support the sales team with inventory management, order flow and client requests.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Keep the wider team informed of any customer issues to prevent gaps.
• Lead special projects that improve the Customer Service function.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in customer service or a similar role.
• Excellent written, verbal and phone communication skills.
• Strong organisational and analytical ability, capable of juggling multiple priorities.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with sound judgement under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Interest in or understanding of clinical/medical environments (highly regarded).
• Trustworthy, reliable and professional presence; legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
