Customer Service Consultant – Contact Centre (Wellington)

About the role

As a Service Consultant in ANZ's Contact Centre, you will be the first point of contact for customers needing assistance with retail, cards, and digital banking solutions. You will resolve enquiries, guide customers through processes, and introduce them to a range of products and services, delivering clear and caring support.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of routine phone enquiries related to retail, cards, and digital banking.
• Provide accurate, empathetic, and timely solutions to customer issues.
• Communicate clearly and listen actively to understand customer needs.
• Follow comprehensive training to apply ANZ policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to maintain high service standards.

Required profile

• NZ resident, NZ citizen or Australian citizen.
• Availability to start on 21 September 2026 or 5 October 2026.
• Willingness to commit to onsite learning and training.
• Flexibility to work 7.5 hours per day, 5 days a week, with start times between 09:00 am and 12:00 pm.
• Ability to work Tuesday‑Saturday or Sunday‑Thursday shifts.
• Strong desire to help others and deliver exceptional customer service.
