Customer Champion - Billing & Payments

About the role

As a Customer Champion you will provide specialist advice on water and wastewater billing and may support other Retail group functions such as payments, collections, new connections and fault handling.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, multi‑channel customer service for billing enquiries.
• Provide specialist support and advice on all aspects of water and wastewater billing.
• Assist with payments, collections, new connections and fault resolution as required.
• Maintain accuracy and speed while handling a high volume of interactions.

Required profile

• Customer‑centric communicator comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Technically savvy with a strong problem‑solving mindset.
• Proven experience in a high‑volume, multi‑channel contact centre.
• Background in accounts receivable, accounts payable and billing.
• Excellent written and oral communication with a professional telephone manner.
• Ability to multitask, meet expectations quickly and analyse problems logically.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster (Mon‑Fri 8:00‑19:00, Sat‑Sun 8:30‑17:00).
