Customer Care Representative

About the role

Genia is seeking a proactive Customer Care Representative to join its New Zealand team. You will act as the primary point of contact for both domestic and export customers, guiding orders from initial enquiry through to successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Process orders from placement to delivery, coordinating with production, dispatch and freight partners.
• Manage freight bookings, delivery schedules and export documentation.
• Prepare quotations and keep pricing information up‑to‑date.
• Support the Sales team with CRM updates and customer follow‑up.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proactive, solution‑focused attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Comfortable learning new systems and technology.
• Experience in freight, logistics or export administration is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM software to update records and track customer interactions.
