About the role
Join Port Otago for a fun, seasonal position greeting visitors to Dunedin’s waterfront. You will work as part of a supportive team, delivering friendly service and helping tourists enjoy their cruise experience.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome and assist cruise passengers arriving in Dunedin.
- Provide information about local attractions, transport options and safety procedures.
- Answer visitor queries and resolve minor issues promptly.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming breakroom area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic about working with people and delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Interest or experience in tourism and hospitality.
- Available to work during the summer season on a part‑time basis.
