Credit Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Credit Controller to join our Finance team in New Zealand on a fixed‑term contract until 31 March 2027. Based in Manukau (with a move to our new Auckland CBD office later this year), you will manage a diverse portfolio of customer accounts, minimise credit risk and support healthy cash flow for a portfolio of world‑recognised beverage and spirits brands.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts to ensure payments are received within agreed trading terms.
• Monitor aged debt, achieve collection targets across multiple ageing buckets and reconcile account discrepancies.
• Proactively mitigate credit risk, including managing accounts on stop and reviewing new credit applications against company guidelines.
• Prepare overdue debt reports, support collection strategies and escalate overdue accounts where necessary.
• Liaise with Sales, Logistics, Customer Service and Finance teams across Australia and New Zealand.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives within the Credit team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Collections or a similar finance role.
• Experience managing high‑volume customer accounts in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
