Court Registry Support Officer – Auckland

About the role

The Court Registry Support Officer provides essential administrative and customer‑service support to the Auckland court system. Working closely with Judges, Court Registry Officers and the public, you will help ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations both inside and outside the courtroom.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely and efficient customer service to lawyers, judges and the public.
• Assist Judges and Court Registry Officers in courtroom and office settings.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing and data entry.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and monitor the court’s email inbox, sorting and distributing messages as required.
• Answer telephone enquiries and direct callers to the appropriate person.
• Prepare and deliver court files to the correct Judge within required timeframes.
• Provide advice and support to a diverse range of customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer‑service role.
• Confident, able to multitask and adapt quickly to change.
• Motivated to learn and enjoy tackling new challenges.
• Current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
