Costings and Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

This position supports the accurate execution of purchasing and product costing processes for Obex Medical, a Bunzl Group company. You will help maintain data integrity across systems and assist the wider supply‑chain team to improve clinical outcomes for New Zealand patients.

Key responsibilities

• Support product costing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Manage purchase orders, communicate with suppliers, and maintain up‑to‑date product and supplier data.
• Provide inventory analysis and reporting to enable data‑driven decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate inventory levels, strong mix management, and cost efficiency.
• Assist demand‑planning activities and contribute to supply‑chain improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Energetic, self‑motivated with great attention to detail and a can‑do attitude.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Excellent communication and planning skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Exposure to purchasing, costing, or supply‑chain processes is desirable.
• Experience with Power BI, Netstock, MYOB Exo, quality systems or documented processes is a plus.
• Background in healthcare or medical‑device industry is advantageous.
