Corporate Lawyer – Infrastructure and Projects

About the role

Russell McVeagh is seeking a mid‑senior level corporate lawyer to join its Wellington Corporate Advisory team. You will work directly with partners on a diverse portfolio of corporate advisory, commercial, renewable energy and infrastructure matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide corporate advisory and commercial legal advice to major corporates and government projects.
• Manage large‑scale renewable energy and infrastructure transactions, including joint ventures.
• Lead public and private M&A, capital raisings, shareholder arrangements and project contracts.
• Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers to deliver high‑quality legal solutions.

Required profile

• Legal qualification with a minimum of 4 years’ post‑qualification experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, think critically and deliver results.
• Strong service focus and collaborative mindset.
