About the role
We are seeking experienced front‑of‑house staff to support corporate functions, premium events and stadium functions across Christchurch on a casual basis. The role offers flexible shifts and the chance to work in a variety of hospitality environments, from conference venues to large‑scale stadium events.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a professional first impression.
- Serve food and beverages, including bartending duties where required.
- Confidently carry up to three plates and manage table settings.
- Set up and break down event areas, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
- Work at stadium events and other large‑scale functions as needed.
- Handle cash or electronic transactions accurately.
- Maintain personal presentation and grooming standards at all times.
Required profile
- Previous waitressing and/or bartending experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure in fast‑paced environments.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transport is advantageous.
