Corporate Affairs Specialist

About the role

Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Director, you will shape how DB Breweries, Star Hospitality Group and their brands are perceived by consumers, media and the wider community. This hands‑on communications role blends storytelling, reputation management and strategic PR across both beverage and hospitality portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative PR and communications campaigns that bring brand and corporate stories to life.
• Produce engaging content for internal and external audiences, including employee updates, digital channels, media materials and stakeholder communications.
• Support media relations, executive communications, speeches, presentations and issue‑management activities.
• Identify and act on stories, trends and opportunities across media, social platforms, venues and the broader industry.
• Contribute to sustainability and ESG communications with clear, credible messaging.
• Manage media enquiries and assist with issues management when rapid judgement is required.
• Coordinate projects across the Corporate Affairs team, bringing energy, curiosity and fresh ideas.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing communications or sustainability communications.
• Strong storytelling ability with excellent writing, editing and content‑creation skills.
• Curious and creative thinker with a keen eye for reputation and brand perception.
