Content Scheduler

About the role
The Content Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining broadcast‑ready schedules that bring Sky’s content plans to life across assigned channels and platforms. Working under the direction of the Content Planner, the role blends programming, promotional and commercial elements to ensure seamless on‑air delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain accurate transmission schedules in IBMS and related systems.
- Integrate programming, promos and advertising to meet channel formats, deadlines and strategic goals.
- Coordinate inputs from Programming, Promotions, Ad Sales, Production and other internal teams.
- Collaborate with offshore teams and external suppliers to ensure schedule integrity.
- Manage late changes and resolve scheduling issues quickly to minimise disruption.
- Apply quality‑control checks to guarantee schedules are on‑air ready.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and ‘right first time’ delivery.
Required skills
- Proficiency with IBMS scheduling system.
- Experience using Landmark or similar broadcast management tools.
