Content & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Content & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist designs and delivers high‑impact content and targeted lifecycle marketing initiatives that boost member lifetime value and retention for nib's New Zealand customers. You will drive upsell, cross‑sell, value reinforcement and churn‑prevention communications across the end‑to‑end customer journey.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute content and lifecycle campaigns that increase share of wallet and reduce lapse.
• Build, refine and apply lifecycle models and segmentation to inform marketing actions.
• Create and optimise messaging across digital and owned channels.
• Analyse performance data to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with compliance and product teams to ensure regulatory alignment.

Required profile

• Experience in lifecycle, CRM, retention or content marketing, preferably in financial services or insurance.
• Proven track record of driving retention, upsell and cross‑sell outcomes through targeted communications.
• Strong hands‑on content creation skills and ability to work across digital channels.
• Commercial mindset focused on member value, revenue growth and churn reduction.

Required skills

• Experience with customer data, segmentation and lifecycle modelling.
• Understanding of customer journeys, behavioural triggers and lifecycle marketing principles.
• Excellent written communication adaptable to different audiences and stages.
• Analytical capability to interpret performance insights.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, marketing automation and content management systems (desirable).
