Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and provide evidence‑based interventions.
• Deliver education and support to patients, families and community stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Participate in on‑call duties and crisis response as required.

Required profile

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent.
• Eligibility for specialist registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
• Relevant training and experience in psychiatry.
• Current driver’s licence for travel between service sites.
