Construction Manager – Fixed‑Term (3‑Year)

About the role

Meridian is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the repowering of the Te Rere Hau Wind Farm on a three‑year fixed‑term contract. You will be responsible for delivering safe, healthy and sustainable construction activities while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the safe, healthy and sustainable delivery of the Te Rere Hau Wind Farm repowering project.
• Manage all on‑site construction aspects, including earthworks, civil works, building works, electrical systems, control systems, SCADA and ICT services through to handover.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants and iwi stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Support the Senior Project Manager with cost and progress reporting, risk management and contract administration.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale construction projects in the renewable energy sector.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including iwi and regional authorities.
