Conference & Events Coordinator – Boutique Alpine Hotel

About the role

The Conference & Events Coordinator will support Sherwood Queenstown, a Michelin‑starred restaurant and boutique alpine hotel, in delivering seamless conferences, weddings, private dining and other events. The role focuses on providing courteous service, anticipating guest needs and driving revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake daily administration and reactive sales activities, including correspondence, quotes, telephone enquiries and post‑event follow‑up.
• Coordinate conferences, dinners, weddings, accommodation and private dining bookings accurately, following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Handle calls, book appointments and assist in lead generation and enquiry follow‑up.
• Work closely with back‑of‑house teams to ensure events meet or exceed client expectations.
• Conduct site inspections for clients and third‑party suppliers.
• Maintain accurate booking records, updating and cancelling as required.

• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.
