About the role

CCS Disability Action is looking for a dedicated Community Support Worker to join its team in Dargaville. The role focuses on providing assistance to disabled individuals, helping them build confidence, achieve greater independence, and develop meaningful connections within the community. This is a part‑time, on‑site position that contributes directly to the organisation’s mission of empowering people with disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized support to disabled clients, encouraging them to develop confidence in daily activities and social interactions.
• Assist clients in gaining independence by facilitating skill development, access to services, and self‑advocacy.
• Create and nurture opportunities for clients to engage with community groups, events, and networks, fostering a sense of belonging.
