About the role

Join a well‑established Hamilton law firm as a Commercial and/or Property Lawyer. You will work closely with businesses, developers, investors and private clients, gaining hands‑on experience across a broad spectrum of commercial and property matters.

Key responsibilities

• Handle commercial property transactions, leasing, subdivisions and developments.
• Advise on banking and finance matters, business acquisitions and sales.
• Provide general commercial advisory services to a diverse client base.
• Develop and maintain trusted client relationships from an early stage.

Required profile

• At least 2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in New Zealand commercial and/or property law.
• Strong technical legal skills and commercial judgement.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Collaborative, professional approach with ambition for long‑term client development.
