Commercial Porter – Cleaning & Maintenance

About the role

Oasis Custodial Services is seeking a reliable Commercial Porter to keep a variety of commercial properties clean, orderly and welcoming. The role involves daily cleaning and basic maintenance across offices, shopping plazas and other high‑traffic venues.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in lobbies, entrances and other high‑traffic areas.
• Vacuum, mop floors, clean windows and ensure public spaces are spotless.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and manage proper disposal.
• Restock paper products and toiletries in restrooms and break rooms.
• Respond quickly to spills, litter or other immediate cleaning needs.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas to meet health standards.
• Use commercial‑grade cleaning equipment according to established protocols.
• Report larger maintenance or safety issues to management.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a porter or in commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle a busy environment.
• Strong communication skills for professional interaction with tenants and clients.
• Physical stamina for lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.
