Commercial Manager

About the role

FMG is looking for a motivated Commercial Manager to join its Waikato team in Hamilton. Reporting to the local Area Manager, you will be responsible for growing the business and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Retain and strengthen relationships with the existing portfolio of commercial clients.
• Provide risk‑management advice and tailored solutions to both new and existing clients.
• Contribute to FMG’s growth objectives as part of a local team and a national channel.

Required profile

• Experience in the insurance or finance industry.
• Hold or be willing to work towards a Financial Services Level 5 Certificate.
• Exceptional relationship‑building skills with clients, community and alliance partners.
• Positive, growth‑mindset and enthusiastic attitude.
• Solution‑driven, high‑achieving and adaptable under pressure.
