About the role
Stuff’s in‑house agency Harakeke is seeking a Commercial Development Lead to shape and commercialise new sponsorship, platform and partnership ideas. Working at the crossroads of audience insight, editorial, product and commercial strategy, you will turn concepts into market‑ready propositions that clients want to buy.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and frame Stuff‑owned commercial opportunities, leading market, audience and commercial problem definition.
- Develop commercial models, revenue sizing and margin assumptions together with Sales and Finance.
- Build pilot structures, productise repeatable ideas and create scalable solutions.
- Design proposition and offer structures, shaping minimum viable platforms and commercial packaging.
- Lead the creation of sales toolkits and go‑to‑market plans, ensuring smooth handover to Sales teams.
- Monitor pilot performance, capture data‑driven learnings and provide recommendations.
Required profile
- Experience in media, technology, advertising, marketing, content or digital product management.
- Proven track record building sponsorship, vertical or partnership models from ideation to business case.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret commercial reports and audience metrics.
- Critical thinker, proactive and continuously improving processes.
