Join Beca’s Commercial Centre of Excellence to partner with senior leaders across New Zealand, providing a financial perspective that drives business performance. You will influence decisions from the bid stage through the entire project lifecycle, combining strategic macro‑thinking with analytical insight.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver insight and recommendations that shape business outcomes and mitigate risk.
• Partner with leaders to identify and leverage commercial opportunities throughout project phases.
• Apply a strong commercial lens to financial analysis and performance reporting.
• Communicate complex financial information in a clear, actionable manner to senior stakeholders.
• Support strategic and commercial initiatives that enhance project success.

Required profile

• Solid accounting foundation with experience as a commercially focused finance leader.
• Proven ability to turn financial insights into measurable business results.
• Understanding of financial and operational performance drivers, risk identification, and opportunity assessment.
• Credibility and influence to build strong cross‑functional partnerships.
• Experience delivering strategic and commercial initiatives and engaging senior leaders.
• Broad perspective on market, economic, social and environmental trends.
• Curiosity, forward‑thinking mindset and willingness to champion innovation.
