Commercial Analyst – Brewing

About the role

As a Commercial Analyst you will work closely with Lion’s three craft brewery sites – Emerson’s, Panhead and Speight’s – to provide data‑driven insights that support performance improvement, cost efficiency and future growth. This hands‑on position partners with brewery leaders, helping them make informed decisions across manufacturing finance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with brewery leaders to deliver forecasting, budgeting and reporting on manufacturing costs, utilities, labour and site performance.
• Support value‑creation initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs and strengthen operational outcomes.
• Manage balance‑sheet activities and assist with capital‑expenditure processes across the brewery sites.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and embed efficiencies.
• Collaborate with the Senior Finance Analyst at the Pride to ensure a consistent approach across breweries.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial finance, management accounting or manufacturing finance environments.
• Currently hold or be working towards a CA/CPA qualification.
• Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with stakeholders.
• Curious, commercially minded and comfortable questioning assumptions.
• Adaptable, proactive problem‑solver with strong attention to detail.
