Commercial Advisor

About the role

Join Babcock New Zealand as a Commercial Advisor based in Devonport, Auckland. You will play a key part in supporting commercial governance, procurement, compliance and contract administration activities across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial administration and support to internal teams.
• Manage procurement processes and supplier relationships.
• Oversee contract administration and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Maintain governance and compliance frameworks.
• Conduct risk assessments and due‑diligence activities.
• Assist with tender preparation and bid support.
• Build and sustain stakeholder relationships.
• Produce reports, manage records and handle data management tasks.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail‑oriented professional with experience in commercial, procurement, legal administration or governance environments.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Sound commercial judgement and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
