Collection Data Manager

About the role

The Collection Data Manager will lead the organization, maintenance, and accessibility of intelligence data collected from multiple sources. You will work closely with customers, developers, and analysts to ensure smooth operational processing and support mission‑critical initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and organize the collection of intelligence data, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Review, analyze, and approve dataflow requests, reducing backlog while maintaining high completion rates.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define requirements for new mission‑management tools that streamline work‑center processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot operational processing paths, providing clear explanations in meetings.
• Implement processes that guarantee data quality, reliability, and easy retrieval for analysis.
• Educate staff on leveraging existing and new data sources, and ensure proper use of collection resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (associate degree + 4 years, HS diploma + 6 years).
• Understanding of agency data architecture, data flow, CRNs, case notations, and SIGADs.
• Ability to optimize resources for informed decision‑making and research.
• Military experience counts as 1.25 × years of experience.
