CNC Machine Operator

About the role

The CNC Machine Operator will join our production team to ensure that parts are manufactured to the highest quality standards, on time and in the correct quantities. You will work closely with supervisors and management to continuously improve processes and support new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, applying tolerances and performing critical dimension checks.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, monitoring cycle times and making adjustments to improve efficiency.
• Conduct first‑off and random sample inspections during production runs.
• Monitor stock levels and notify purchasing when minimum thresholds are reached.
• Identify and resolve machine faults, participating in daily and weekly TPM activities.
• Support dispatch operations and assist with the implementation of new products and processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement (LEAN) initiatives and maintain clean workstations.
• Contribute to staff development through training and performance reviews.
