Cluster Commercial Director – North Island

About the role

As the Cluster Commercial Director for Hilton’s North Island portfolio, you will shape and execute a commercial strategy that drives revenue, profitability and market share across multiple hotels. You will work closely with regional and hotel leadership to deliver memorable guest experiences while achieving financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated commercial strategy covering Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, eCommerce, PR and Events for all North Island hotels.
• Partner with General Managers and Finance leaders to meet revenue, TGOP and EBITDA goals across Rooms, F&B, Leisure, Spa and Events.
• Lead pricing, forecasting and market segmentation initiatives to optimise demand and commercial performance.
• Provide strategic direction to sales and events teams, focusing on high‑value corporate, leisure, MICE and group business.
• Oversee integrated marketing, digital and public‑relations programmes that strengthen brand presence and generate demand.
• Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform commercial decisions and identify growth opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with owners, Hilton corporate, regional teams and industry stakeholders while ensuring robust governance and financial controls.
• Coach and develop commercial talent, fostering a culture of accountability, succession planning and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial leadership experience in the hospitality or hotel sector.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth, profitability and market‑share improvements.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive collaboration across sales, marketing and revenue management.
