Cloud Security Engineer – AI Trainer

About the role

Join DataAnnotation as a Cloud Security Engineer focused on training AI models. You will work remotely, evaluating and improving AI‑generated security content while shaping the next generation of AI‑driven threat detection.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate AI‑generated cybersecurity content such as threat analyses, vulnerability assessments, and offensive techniques for real‑world accuracy.
• Design and solve security‑focused technical problems that are used to train AI systems.
• Write clear technical explanations and produce security‑relevant code.
• Provide feedback that directly influences the development of AI security models.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a cybersecurity role (e.g., penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related government/military cyber operations).
• Comfortable with coding and navigating a codebase.
• Fluent English with strong written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant certifications (OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, etc.) are a plus.
• Located in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
