Clinical Operations Manager

About the role

The Clinical Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operational flow of our growing Clinical Trials Division. Reporting to the Principal Investigator, you will ensure the site runs efficiently, patient recruitment targets are met and sponsor expectations are exceeded.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Clinical Study Coordinators and Research Assistants, enforcing a structured delegation model and tracking performance against KPIs.
• Manage the full patient recruitment funnel from lead contact through enrollment, identifying and removing bottlenecks to maximise randomisation rates.
• Act as the primary liaison for Sub‑Investigators, Clinical Research Associates and study sponsors, coordinating eligibility reviews, protocol sign‑offs and clinical approvals.
• Maintain site‑wide compliance with Good Clinical Practice, ethics committee requirements and all relevant clinical regulations.
• Analyse trial progress, enrollment velocity and staff capacity, providing regular reports to the Director on site bandwidth and profitability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a clinical research site, with at least 1–2 years in a senior coordination, site manager or clinical trial manager role.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, delegate tasks and drive performance against metrics.
• Relevant healthcare qualification such as Nursing, Allied Health or similar.
