About the role
The Client Adviser supports New Zealanders with important life decisions such as creating a Will or setting up an Enduring Power of Attorney. The role combines face‑to‑face advice with community outreach across Rotorua, Whakatāne and Tauranga.
Key responsibilities
- Lead conversations about Wills and Enduring Power of Attorney with customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local community groups, Age Concern, Citizens Advice Bureau and rest homes.
- Represent Public Trust at community events and increase awareness of its services.
- Travel regularly to regional locations, typically visiting one or two sites per week.
- Manage your own appointment schedule and ensure customers receive clear, accurate advice.
Required profile
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build trust.
- Capable of simplifying complex information for customers.
- Enjoys community engagement and networking.
- Self‑motivated, independent and uses good judgement.
- Committed to making a positive difference for people.
